Holland was well represented at this weekend's garage sales. I bought this tile from a woman whose father was Dutch (from Friesland)...
...and I bought this piggy bank at a Dutch family's sale just outside of town. They were handling the estate of their deceased father who emigrated to the USA with his parents and siblings at the age of 17, right after WWII. They told me they found Dutch documents and a deed to property in Holland, but since they don't speak the language, they can't read it. I gave them my card and told them I'd be delighted to help out. We'll see.

Any thoughts on value, anyone? It's likely incomplete.

Still love Mary Engelbreit after all these years. Dug up the flag pole in the garage and now this flag is flying from our front porch. We'll wait until December to switch it to the snowman.

Saturday's grand total $ 36.75
I bought this book for a friend, but it's so beautiful that it will be hard to part with it.
Bought the plate to resell. Was that a good idea?
I did get lucky in the book department!

Fire King mini bowls. I have to stop buying miniature bowls.
The tray in my kitchen is overflowing.

I'll give the fabric to the Women's Fellowship of my church, who will surely turn it into something fabulous for their Christmas Bazaar. Too bad I never learned how to sew.
One more teapot for the collection and two more Starbucks cups. Total $5. Could not believe my eyes when I found this (nearly full) bottle of Chanel nail polish for $1. Look it up on E-Bay! I can't afford to use it!
I promised my sister-in-law that I would take a picture of this summer's teapot harvest. Here they are. All 18 of them. I could start a tea room tomorrow!
